LGM Engineers provides the following non-residential services:
ENVIRONMENTAL:
As a voting member of ACI 350, “Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures (EECS), Mrazek helped develop the present code and commentary for EECS. He also helped develop the standard, ACI 350.3/ ACI 350.3R, “Seismic Design of Liquid-Containing Concrete Structures and Commentary”. Mrazek has over 40 years of experience in the design and specifying of EECS, as well as trouble shooting problems during the construction of these structures. He also served as engineer-of-record on the condition survey and repairs of a large municipal wastewater treatment plant in St. Louis, Missouri. LGM Engineers can provide the following engineering services related to EECS:
- Assist in the development of structural design criteria, including structural concepts.
- Provide the structural design of select EECS structures.
- Provide a peer review of designs, drawings and specifications.
- Complete seismic analyses of liquid containing structures.
- Complete Condition Surveys & Repair documents.
- Provide field assistance during construction, including quality concrete services (testing, etc.)
STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATIONS:
Provide engineering services related to the investigation of existing structures and structures under construction. Investigations may include problems involving reinforced concrete structures, prestressed concrete structures and limited services with structural steel structures. Refer also to our “REPAIRS” and “EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY” services.
PARKING STRUCTURES:
Services include, but not limited to, the following:
- Review structural concepts and help develop structural design criteria.
- Provide a peer review of the design, drawings and specifications.
- Assist in providing construction services; i.e., quality concrete testing, shop drawing reviews, layout of post-tensioning tendons and reinforcement.
- Refer also to “REPAIRS”.
CONDITION REPAIR AND ASSESSMENT:
Services include, but not limited to, the following:
- Complete “Condition Survey” of structure, including recommended testing.
- Develop Conditions Survey Report with budget cost estimate for repairs.
- Discuss proposed repairs and associated costs with Owner.
- Develop repair documents; i.e., drawings and specifications.
- Assist Owner during bidding – also selection of qualified contractor.
- Provide periodic site visits during construction.
- Assist in final walk-thru and “punch list”.
- Supervise the completion of “Record” / “As-Built“ drawings.

EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY:
- Provide services related to expert witness testimony involving structural and quality concrete problems.
- Furnish report with photographs, testing, etc.
- Availability for testimony during depositions and or trials.
